All content in Drupal is stored in tow languages: in Dutch and English. Follow these steps to create a translation:
- Create the content item in Dutch. Save the draft.
- Open the content item and go to the 'Translate' tab.
- Add the translation, enter the input fields and save.
You will find the 'Translate' tab on the rightmost tab.
Tip: finish your content item in one language as much as possible before adding the translation. This is because Drupal takes over all the original content you inserted, such as images and content blocks. After you have added a translation, changes in one language will not be automatically carried over to the other language.
Note: Do not create a translation by creating a new content item in the second language!
