The data displayed on the website at organisation, employee and employee profile page comes from different source systems. The maintenance of this information is assigned to different people.
This article provides an overview of which information is shown in which place and who can edit which information.
RBS is the source of organisations as they are in Drupal. The structure and most data of organisations come from RBS. In Drupal, an editor can populate an organisation with a description, location, image, logo, external website, among others. An organisation in Drupal can also be linked on different pages under 'contact' (example calendar sharing) and an organisation is shown in search results (example search page incl filters).

RBS is the source for employees as they appear in Drupal. Changes to employee data such as e-mail, phone number, job title must be made within RBS. BASS is the source for the link between employee and organisation (which organisation the employee falls under). This cannot be changed in RBS unless it is an employee with an e-number.
An employee can be linked in Drupal on various pages under 'contact' (example project page) and shown in search results (example search page incl filters). In addition, an employee can be enriched with a public-friendly expertise text (researchers, in cooperation with science editors).

An employee can choose to create their own profile page via the employee portal (https://portal.ru.nl). If created then it is possible to click through to the employee's page from the search result.
- Some of the information can be maintained by the employee himself via the employee portal https://portal.ru.nl. Visit the website for more information on creating, editing and the profile page and the employee manual.
- Some data are automatically added to the profile page, such as job title, contact details, publications and courses and cannot be edited by employees themselves. Below is the source of those details and administrators.
