The starting point is that the website is bilingual. This means that every piece of content on ru.nl is offered in both Dutch and English and therefore every content type must also be translated. Read more about this in the input instruction Translations.

Tab: Content
  • Go to content > add content
  • Click on 'Project

You always start editing the Dutch language version. Once you have completed and saved the required fields, you will be given the option to create a translation. Is the content to be offered in English only? Before you start entering, change the language version to English under 'Language'.

Field Description
1. Title* Project title. For a research project, use the official title of the project.
2. Subtitle Project subtitle. For a research project, use the official subtitle of the project (this is the part after the colon).
If the title is too long, use the subtitle.
3. Summary* Short description of up to 250 characters. Displayed in summaries and on map views. Click "Edit Summary" next to "Project Description" to see the field. Read about a good summary.
4. Project description* The content description of the project. Information on results, partners and funders can be found further down.
5. Sections Sections allow you to add additional paragraphs, images, media and text and video to your description.
6. Duration: start date* The date the project begins.
Duration: end date
The date the project ends.
Showing only year
Check if you want to show only the year of the term.
Field Description
1. Hero Large image displayed at the top of the page.
2. Tile Uitgelichte afbeelding die wordt gebruikt in overzichten, zoekresultaten en sociale media.
3.Results Beschrijf de resultaten van het project. Denk aan cijfers, (wetenschappelijke) publicaties, demo's en dergelijke.
4. Project members Benoem de in- en/of externe medewerkers die betrokken zijn bij het project.
5. General description about funding
Toelichting op de financiering van het project.
6. Funding Voeg een financierder toe. Je kunt een naam, logo en een link toevoegen.
If there are many funders, they can also be entered in the text box as a (link) list without the logos attached.
1. Partner Information: General description about partnership
Explanation of the project's partners.
For research project: Radboud University and faculties do not need to be named separately.
Partner Add a partner. You can add a name, logo and a link.
3. Contact information Notes on opportunities to contact for more information about the project.
4. Contact person Employee that someone can contact (usually the person who delivered the project).
5. Project type* Select the type of project. Choose from ICT, Education, Research, Organizational/HR, Real Estate.
6. Organizational unit

Organizational unit involved in the content/subject of the project. (Not: the organizational unit that manages the content in the CMS).

Multiple organizational units can be linked.

Metadata and related content

On the content tab, you can also add metadata to your project. Read more about the importance of this information in the article Metadata.

Field Description
1. Theme For research project: select one or more research topics the project is about. Preference max 2-3.
2. Show on corporate overviews If you have the rights to do so, you can check this box to include the project in the central project overview on the website. Only check this box if the project is relevant for a wide audience, not just for employees/students.
3. Target audience For now, don't fill in.
4. Keyword
For now, don't fill in.
5. Topic
For now, don't fill in. (Rubriek wordt alleen gebruikt bij contenttype service).
6. Related content
Link related content from Drupal to the project.
Tab: SEO

The SEO tab appears on every content type. The tab is partially populated from other fields of the content type. Still, it is wise to see if you can improve the SEO information. 

  • Click save.
  • The 'title' and 'summary' fields in the SEO tab are generated from the information entered on the content tab. 
  • Read what improvements you can do in the input instructions for SEO (tab).
